I attended a meeting yesterday in which the document I maintain was
discussed. The document contains a lot of appendices (one for each patch
that is applied to a system). I made a comment that included the word
"appendices." The leader of the meeting subconsciously decided that the
singular for appendices is appendicee rather than appendix. Oddly, the use
of the word spread throughout the 13 people in the meeting, until they were
ALL saying "appendicee." It was surreal!
