A better idea might be to fix the fuzzy flowchart issue instead. :-) 

In what application are the flowcharts created? And what file format are
they saved as? 

Fuzziness at different zoom values suggests you're importing the
flowcharts as bitmaps (not good), maybe even in JPEG format (even
worse). There is probably an alternative workflow using a vector
(scalable) format.
