Re: Word 2007 - Character Styles: How do I clear a single instance? SOLVED
Subject:Re: Word 2007 - Character Styles: How do I clear a single instance? SOLVED From:Kathleen MacDowell <kathleen -dot- eamd -at- gmail -dot- com> To:Scott Turner <quills -at- airmail -dot- net> Date:Wed, 19 Jan 2011 16:46:52 -0600
When I replied before I forgot to explain what I do when I want to remove a
style--I've defined a character style as my default "body"; then when I
mis-apply a style I can just apply that. I've also got a default para style
(not normal, though I've based normal on it).
The nice thing about this approach is that you can automate the replacement
by doing your find/replace with styles.
You should also be able to select Clear All from your style menu if you're
doing it on a single word.
Regards,
Kathleen
