Steve,
XML Press uses Lightning Source (http://lightningsource.com). Lightning Source distributes through online and brick-and-mortar retailers, or you can use them for fulfillment and sell direct.
We use them for distribution through retailers, so I don't know how convenient they are for direct sales.
Other options that will let you set up a "store" are lulu.com and createspace.com. They might be better choices if you want a web site for your customers to purchase books, but don't want to sell through retailers.
All three are easy to work with. Lightning Source is probably the most demanding, because they mostly cater to publishers. The other two are "newbie" friendly.
