An interesting idea. Specific environments with their own maps. It
would probably require that each location provide its own viewer for
visitors (can't assume that everyone is going to brng their own), and
users would probably need to view the environment's danger hotspots
before they entire, which might make it more of a VR rather than an AR
system.
The question is what the advantage would be over much cheaper
no-step/no-touch signage that doesn't require special viewers or
power.
