Subject:Problem with Visio cross functional diagrams From:Julie Thomas <julie -dot- cm -dot- thomas -at- gmail -dot- com> To:techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com Date:Thu, 9 Jun 2011 13:07:26 -0400
I'm working on a project where I need to construct MANY cross functional
(swim lane) diagrams. I have a lot of experience with Visio, but not a lot
with this particular type of process diagram. As you know, sometimes your
diagram grows bigger than the page you originally set up. My problem comes
when trying to reposition the diagram on the page - the swim lanes reorder
themselves and the entire diagram gets scrambled. I've used drag and drop as
well as the "center diagram on page" feature, with the same results.
Is this some issue with how I started the diagram originally, or is this
just some freak problem only I'm having?
