PDF Losing Word figures etc (was RE: Framemaker vs. Flare for PDFs)

Hi Bee
Yes I have seen similar problem with PDF prints missing linked pictures (this is with Word 2003).
First cure I found was to set the view size at 10% and watch the diminutive pages as all the links slowly made good and pictures appeared - once they had all arrived then pdf995 would print all without problems.
Second (better) sure was to purchase Adobe Acrobat - it "fetched" every picture as it created the pages and everything printed fine after that.
Hope that helps
David

Can't argue with that. If you just want PDF, FrameMaker is perfect.
Noticed that Word versions before Word 2010 sometimes won't convert to PDF
perfectly. Recently I ended up with partial tables and missing figures.
I wonder if others might have had similar results and would like to share.

I haven't found any advantages to Flare if your only deliverable is
