To be fair, they use the same argument about writing AND
communicating. It's a matter of illumination. You can educate them all
you want, but until they actually do see a difference - whether in
their own documentation's success or even seeing the benefits of a
clear email - people will still think their communication and
documentation/information they create is perfectly fine.
