Erika Yanovich asked about cross-media publishing:
"
We need to publish data sheets and other marketing pieces on new platforms
(various smartphones and tablets). Does anyone have experience with this or
pointers to good examples? What formats (are there any standards, even
de-facto)? Should we shorten the text or use the same for all platforms?
What about graphics?"

Erika:
Look at Jakob Nielsen's Alertbox column for September 26: http://www.useit.com/alertbox/mobile-usability.html. He runs web site
usability conferences, and publishes extensive reports on site usability.
I've subscribed to his weekly Alertbox announcements for a couple of years,
and he has recently been concentrating on site usability from mobile
devices.
