Ditto, big time.

Even though it takes there are lots of times when I have to really talk myself into it, I'm pretty consistent about taking a vigorous one-hour damned near every day, whatever the weather. Really helps keep me sane and centered -- especially when I'm stressed by lack of work.

I'll second this. Exercise is one of the best things you can do for
yourself, especially during tough times. And if you're like me and
have a few (or then some) extra pounds on your frame, it'll be an even
bigger boost when you drop them. I ping-ponged throughout my
unemployment/underemployment stretch in 2008-10 with many good
intentions, but amped up my consistency at the beginning of the year.
I'm down about 50 lbs and feel great (though have a ways to go). If I
didn't have a full time job ad a family to care for, I think I'd be
putting in a solid 2 hours a day on exercise alone. Once you get
hooked... :-)
