... aspects of the standard are important and which can be ignored. For example, some international documentation and safety standards require translation into multiple languages, but many companies defer the translation because the cost would make the whole project unprofitable.
Do those standards account for the idiotic symbols that appear on consumer goods where formerly there were words in some translatable language? I've often wondered why they cannot leave the English (or French) there and add the crazy symbol.
Here are four of them. They have four separate meanings. Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to translate even just one them into any human language at all. (The octagon is supposed to be a circle.)
