Those look like GINITEX laundry symbols, with the dots representing the
tumble dryer temperature (1=low, 2=normal), and the lines representing
increasing degrees of gentleness. Do I get the prize?
Bingo! You get the prize, which is a contract from Arkham House to produce "Laundry Symbols, the Missing Manual" in the heretofore wisely neglected language of Cthulhu. Cthulhu is not the name of the language, but instead one of the presumed speakers. Here is a phrase in the language: "ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn." It will unfortunately be your sole grammar and dictionary.
