If one adjusts for inflation by keying off the price of gold, that job at  
!0/hr pays far less than I was making on summer jobs in high school.

If one adjusts based on the price of gasoline or bread, it's only slightly  
less than I was making on that same summer job. Based on the price of milk  
it pays slightly better.

What will they get? A brilliant high-school student who wants to gain  
Florida residency in order to qualify for in-state tuition, who plans to  
live at grandma's house, and to commute by bicycle.
