Agreed in general, and perhaps for content strategy, but I don't believe O'Reilly has a book on DITA.

For book on DITA, I'd suggest Eliot Kimber's "DITA For Practitioners, Volume 1, Architecture and Technology".

There's multiple webinars, and a handful of other books on DITA. I'd ask on the DITA-Users @ YahooGroups.com mailing list, they'd have a better current perspective on DITA training materials.
