When employees from distributed offices of a company are able to work 'together' on projects, then why does it not work for employees who work from their own homes?I think this is what Kathleen is asking here.

Wouldn't the remote locations have their own in-house vs telecommuting policies? The employees' bosses would transmit the attendance reports is my bet.
