The original article did not claim technical writing was stress-free. It called it one of the top ten least stressful jobs.
There is a corresponding top ten most stressful jobs, which includes the military, and firemen.
I've had a lot of horribly stressful tech writing jobs, but I am not defusing bombs in Afghanistan. Perspective.
