Subject:A joke about me that I actually like From:Erika Yanovich <ERIKA_y -at- rad -dot- com> To:techwr-l <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Tue, 1 Apr 2014 07:25:44 +0000
In one of the Marketing Managers Forums (here Tech Writing is a department in Marketing), somebody asked about the length of a document. Almost concurrently I replied it was short , while another manager said it was long. It was actually about 20 pages, but length is a matter of perspective. For me, a 20-page document is short as we write manuals containing many hundreds of pages. Anyway, this incident evolved into the joke that for me a 100-page doc is just the table of contents... I actually like this joke as it implies that we produce serious stuff.
Just sharing.
