I have to agree that "Toggle Switch" is a horrible thing to inflict on a
user. You might stop some users dead in their tracks with that. I also
liked the idea of documentation as punishment that Peter suggested. Perhaps
he has read some of my manuals. LOL.
If we believe that the users of your product are not complete technical
novices, then I think a statement such as "Use the controls on the right to
select the days when you are available" would be fine. I don't believe that
calling the controls anything in particular adds value, unless there are
multiple control types on the page and you think there is a need to steer
the user with precision.
