I doubt the BLS is doing data mining of business licenses, but if they are I still won't be in their technical writer numbers because my title is "Owner."

I provided the suggestion to you in response to your question about how many 1099s are in the market in Silicon Valley. Business licenses are required to work as 1099 employees in some counties and for some companies, so I suggested that there could be some data somewhere to aid your search.
