If you are a beginner in technical comm, look for a job as part of a team.
As a junior member, you can benefit from the experience & guidance
of experienced members. They can give you chunks of the job that you
can handle, answer your questions, and let you see how the larger job
is organized.
Firms that do writing on contract (sending in the flying squad,
as it were) are a good bet.
