I can't speak for others, but I haven't worked an 80 hour week since grad
school, and a lot of my grading is done on the beach! :-)
There is a reason why we go through hell to get the Ph.D. and it has nothing to
do with the priviledge of working for less money. Personally, I wouldn't
trade it for anything.
