Topic: "Facilitation Skills for Effective Meetings"
Have you ever attended a meeting that just did not go
well? Or a meeting which got out of control? Do you
have to conduct an IPR (in process review) and don't
know where to begin? Come to our February meeting and
find out about some skills that can make the most of
a meeting. This presentation will cover how to get
task achievement, handle intra-group conflict, and
take control of your meetings.
Speaker: Tara Martin-Milius, dynamic speaker, trainer, and
consultant. She has an extensive background in
Quality processes and organizational development.
She has managed in large, small, entrepreneurial,
and bureaucratic environments from health care to
hi-tech. She currently runs her own consulting
business, and is the Total Quality Management
Certificate Coordinator for the UC Santa Cruz Extension.
