Compared to what? I can think of many jobs that are more stressful
and strenuous than tech writing (and quite a few that are less
stressful, too :-)

Whoever conducted that study must have been under a lot of stress!
Doesn't everyone know that the some of most stressful jobs are those
with DEADLINES?...and no or little control over them.
