Well, here's a stab at a grown-up answer:
Since you already have the files converted to FrameMaker format,
if you're willing to spend a little extra money, you can buy a
filter to convert from FM to WordPerfect. I believe it is marketed
by a company called "Word for Word" (or that may be name of the
filter set...not sure). Although I haven't tried it myself, it
is alleged by some of my colleagues to be pretty good. I suppose
it depends to some extent on the complexity of the formatting that
you want to convert. If you would like further information, I
will get the detail on the company that makes the filter; alternatively,
you could call Frame, as they were the ones who recommended this
strategy to us.
