Modems come in a variety of speed:
-Sloth-like,
-Much too slow,
-Too slow,
-Not fast enough, and
-Wow, it's terrific! Of course, only one server on earth is fast enough to
talk to it, but it's RILLY fast!**
**Note: The Wow category will be downgraded to "Not Fast Enough" within
approximately six months after introduction.
Many of us still use 2400 because that's how we access the net. I have a
14.4 modem, but the lines available to me locally only support 2400.
