TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I think the best tech writing job listings are at the STC FTP site. They seem
to be updated weekly, and the listing includes, pretty much exclusively, tech.
writing jobs with some video production and programming. To access these, ftp
to
ftp.clark.net
and sign in as "anonymous" (no quotes). Use your e-mail address as a password.
The information is under jobleads.txt in the directory pub/stc.
If the anonymous login limit has been reached, it will kick you out
automatically, without an explanation. Don't despair. Just try again later.
Good Luck!
