TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Mary Deaton has posted a WinHelp version of Hyperviews, the newsletter of the
Society for Technical Communication Online PIC (Professional Interest
Committee). Even if you are not an STC member, you should check out this file
(hypervws.zip) for its very creative and beautiful application of the WinHelp
format.
There is a link to the Hyperviews FTP site on George Byrnes's winhlp-L World
Wide Web home page. Maybe Mary could provide the actual FTP site address for
those with Internet but no Web access.
Happy authoring,
Matt Abe
