Subject:clip art; copyright concerns From:Maryann Corbett <maryann -at- MNROSDP -dot- REVISOR -dot- LEG -dot- STATE -dot- MN -dot- US> Date:Tue, 23 May 1995 13:40:12 -0500
I've recently taken on the job of doing the organization's newsletter.
I'd like to hear about sources of high-quality electronic clip art. I'm
especially interested in reproductions of old woodcuts and Victorian-era
engravings and other interesting line art. Macintosh platform, please.
Second, what's the fastest way to learn the requirements about rights and
permissions for little snippets of other people's work quoted in the newsletter,
esp. as filler? I need a fast course in copyright law.
Private mail would probably be best for this, so e-mail me at
