Brad, the ascii set should always work in any PC program. . . but never =
say "never" or "always" !

Anyway . . . Try for an em dash alt+0151. For an en dash alt+0150. If =
you open the Windows program called "Character Map" (charmap.exe - - - =
and I seem to have deleted mine!), it shows you all the characters. Pass =
your cursor over each character and look at the lower right (? if I =
remember correctly) corner and the numbers (0151, 0152, etc.) appear =
there. Remember to use your number pad, not the keyboard numbers on the =
QWERTY side.

I guess I'm just telling my age....I remember when we ONLY had those =
ascii characters to use and I will go to my grave with some of them in =
memory.....
