I've been informed that only the newsgroup readers, and not the
subscribers, got this, so I'm reposting it.

I would like to address the 14% UNIX users who replied. I was quite
surprised by the ammount using UNIX, and would love to get some further info:
1. What are you documenting?
2. Are you doing graphics(high-end workstation variety) or writing mostly?
3. What programs on UNIX are you using? Are they XWin or console based?
4. Do you know how to program?
5. Do you think your knowledge UNIX gives you an upper hand in the job
market?
I'm a student and want to know what you think I should know to prepare
myself for a job using UNIX. I will gladly publish the results for the list.
Happy computing,
