TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
The entry and judging forms are now fully operational. Because of delays in
making them work, we have extended the deadline for entering the competition
to FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20th 1996.
The competition has two main branches: one for printed documents and one for
computer-based (online) communications, such as tutorials and help systems.
You can submit entries or apply to become a judge in either of these
branches, using forms on the web site.
If you are unable to use the forms on the web site, please send email to
hotline -at- stc -dot- org for assistance in submitting your information via email or
U.S. mail.
Everyone benefits from this competition. Entrants receive peer review and
recognition of their achievements. Judges see the best of what their peers
are doing. The technical communication profession grows in stature as we
turn the spotlight on our best works.
Please participate in this important event.
