Dear colleagues,
I'm turning to you for advice.
We're shopping for a comprehensive electronic publishing system that will
answer the production and distribution needs or our department and
company.
Assuming such a product exists, we'd like the ability to produce, from a
single source code:
* Printed manuals
* Online manuals
* Online help
* HTML documents
Currently, we're writing our documentation using FrameMaker, and then
converting our files in three different directions. This is proving
cumbersome.
For the online manuals, we'd like a viewer that:
* Offers strong search capabilities
* Displays graphics that are viewable and clear
* Can be provided at our customer sites for low or no cost
Currently, we're using Adobe Acrobat. We'd like a viewer that offers a
better search facility.
Even if you don't have time to offer an in-depth response, PLEASE LET US
KNOW WHAT YOU'RE USING, and if you're satisfied.
Thank you very much for taking the time to respond.
Regards,
Dave Egyes
