Publications Competition!
The best feedback writers can receive about their work is to hear it from
a colleague. There is no higher praise than to be recognized by peers. That
is what the publications competition of the Region 6 Technical Communicators
Conference is all about.
You've done the hard part! You've worked hard to produce a document of
which you should be proud. Now it's time to show it off!
Anyone may enter the competition. Categories include promotional and
informational brochures, quick reference guides, softward and hardware
guides, manuals, annual reports, newsletters, magazines, scholarly/
professional articles, trade/news articles, technical reports, and books.
Entries are judged on the quality of the writing, editing, design and graphics,
and integration of form and content.
For more information concerning the conference or to receive an entry
packet, contact either of the co-chairs of the competition: Bill Anderson
309-796-1311, ext. 2220 or Kathy Hurley 507-389-5507 (voice mail), or e-mail
