word is a total drag when it comes to creating lists that, my god, would
have a screen shot in them or something like a note after the text.
oddly enough, what i find works is if i use the right mouse button and
click on the paragraph you want to indent or modify and "skip numbering",
then change the format. seems to work for most stuff if you proceed in
that order.
