Farallon Communications is seeking a technical writer who is fluent in all
facets of software documentation. The writer will create online assistance in
HTML, WinHelp, and Apple Guide formats. The successful candidate will also be
able to use FrameMaker to generate printed manuals.
The writer should be able to begin with alpha releases of new software
products (Windows and Macintosh) and design and implement document plans for
those products. During this process the writer will solicit and incorporate
reviews from software engineers, quality assurance engineers, marketing
mavens, and technical support specialists. The writer should be comfortable
working on two or three projects simultaneously and be willing to adapt to
rapidly changing technology.
