Personally, if it is the last page in the manual, I think it would look
better if that last left-hand page were completely blank, without any
headers or footers. You often see a (totally) blank double-sided page at the
end of a book, just before the back cover. Sometimes, you see two
double-sided blank pages. I've always thought that added to the look of of
the book. In a manual, I usually don't do that, but in the particular case
brought up by Peter Brown, I think I put just one blank page.
