Training Analyst
The Training Analyst is primarily responsible for the development of
training materials and the delivery of training to internal end users
and corporate employees. The Training Analyst will also participate in
writing end user documentation and developing the on-line help system.
This position is challenged by the need to develop application training
materials including: business processes, job aides, training guides, and
practice exercises according to company standards in an application
development environment. This position is also challenged by the need to
create and maintain a simulated production environment (training
environment) for the training participants to use for practice. The
Training Analyst may also be involved in developing on-line assessment
tests to help gage participant understanding of the new software system.
The Training Analyst is a full time position reporting to the Training
Architect and serving the entire organization.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
* College degree preferably in education, computer science, or related
field
* Minimum three years curriculum and training materials development
* Commitment to client service
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* High level knowledge in Windows 95 and Microsoft Office products
* Experience developing training curriculum in a software development
environment
* Experience developing self-directed training curriculum
* Experience with a variety of training delivery modes
* Experience with assessing training effectiveness and on-the-job
performance
* Prefer professional training in adult learning theory and
instructional design techniques
* Prefer distribution industry knowledge
Interpersonal Skill Requirements
* Ability to interact with all levels of project staff
* Ability to make recommendations on standards and procedures
