Subject:Visio to HTML - Readabiliy/Printing Problems From:Cheryle Wiese <cjwiese -at- HOTMAIL -dot- COM> Date:Fri, 14 Nov 1997 09:50:56 PST
Hi all,
First, thanks to all who responded to my query regarding Word 7.0
document opening problems. I haven't had a chance to try any of the
suggestions yet, but will shortly.
Here's another problem:
I have a 12 page Process Flow diagram created in VISIO that I saved as
an HTML file, then uploaded to our Intranet. This Process Flow is a
typical flowchart with lots of text. My version of VISIO (Professional
4.5) allows you to save the file as HTML and specify the type of image
(.jpg, .gif, etc.) and also the resolution. I selected 640X480 as the
resolution, and .jpg as the image type.
When I view the doc through Netscape, most of the smaller font text is
very blurry, and input from our field staff has been that it prints out
this way as well. I am brand new to VISIO and to Intranets, and wonder
if I should have chosen different settings?
I'd appreciate any suggestions from the VISIO gurus out there! :)
