Subject:Headhunters in So. Calif. (L.A.; Orange County) From:"Chapkhaneh, Helen" <CHAPKHE -at- MAIL -dot- NORTHGRUM -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 18 Feb 1998 14:09:04 -0800
Greetings to All,
I joined this list only a couple months ago and have been reading and
gathering relevant information for which I am grateful. You guys are
all so knowledgeable! I have followed the generous responses to the
request for Bay Area headhunters posted a few days ago.
I have a similar request: I am looking for competent and reputable
executive recruiters in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.
Direction to a listing or specific names of headhunters'
firms/representatives would be appreciated. I will soon be "downsized,"
i.e., laid off, after 14 years with a major aerospace firm and am thus
in the throws of life-crisis management involving the "deplorable" act
of resume, cover letter, etc., creation, not to mention interview and
negotiation techniques. My expertise is in documenting company policies
and procedures at both the corporate and divisional levels. I never see
any mention of this area of technical writing in job ads or this
listserv, and to compound matters, I'm management. Oh dear! I really
feel doomed.
Thank you in advance for any information you can provide regarding
headhunters. (I did research the archives prior to posting and found
nothing.)
