Documentation Specialist
The Documentation Specialist will be responsible for creating and
maintaining materials such as
system administration guides, user information, release notes, and
help systems, for system
administrators and users of Ovid software. The position works closely
with interface designers,
programmers, and support professionals in developing the materials.
This position will be located in
the New York Office and will report to the Process and Release
Management Team Leader.
Required skills:
BA/BS degree, preferably in English
Knowledge of Windows and MS Office Suite, particularly MS Word.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
1+ year of editorial experience
Self-motivated
Detail-oriented
Able to work independently and in a team environment
Desired skills:
1+ year of experience in software documentation or technical
writing
Experience using bibliographic and/or full text search software
Experience in a software development environment
DOS, UNIX, Novell and/or other network experience
