Subject:Pages vs Screens From:Warren Singer <Warren_Singer -at- VOCALTEC -dot- COM> Date:Sun, 22 Feb 1998 09:57:19 +0200
The Microsoft Manual of Style for Technical Publications (1995) suggests
the term pages or tabbed pages. Screen refers to the display or monitor and
is used in the context of "full-screen mode" and "screen resolution". It's
not appropriate to refer to any element in a window or dialog box as a
screen ( exept when refering to a graphically captured image or "screen
shot").
I hope this helps.
Warren
