suggested the following about Re:mark, which my friend seems to think will
work:

My friend seemed to think that Re:mark could do at least
part of what he wanted. He said it doesn't work with Frame or Word, but it
will enable his site customers to view changes more easily (somehow--I
didn't ask for specifics). He was grateful for the response, and so am I.
