Uh, you don't need a macro. I can't believe MS couldn't tell you how to do
it.
When you insert a file or picture or object into a WORD doc (using INSERT
on the File menu), be sure to check the little box.. LINK TO FILE (the
checkbox is located on the window where you select which file/picture/or
object you are going to insert).
Then, when you want to see all your links, click Edit on the File menu and
select LINKS.
Voila' I use it all the time.
