Subject:Re: Word page numbering problem From:"Rebecca P. Rachmany" <purple -at- NETMEDIA -dot- NET -dot- IL> Date:Fri, 24 Jul 1998 10:32:26 +0300
This is a known bug in Word 97 which shows up about once a week in the Word
newsgroups. The quick fix is to switch to normal view and then back to page
layout view (some experts said do it twice). This automatically updates the
field. This apparently affects only certain printers. As someone mentioned
before, it's important to make sure Background Printing in your options is
turned off.
The Word knowledge base article on the subject is Q159678.
