written policies.
Though slightly off the intent of this topic, I'd say "screw the
company" or any company that has a ridiculous policy like this.
A person's FIRST loyalty must be to his/her family, so whatever it
takes to support the family financially is where the priority must lie.
How much loyalty will that company show to their employees?
Such a narrow minded company is practicing slavery in a modern sense,
so I'd be on the lookout for another position.
