TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I am sending this message to all who have responded to my previous message
concerning tech writers.
I am pleasantly suprised by the response so far. It shows that people want
to expand themselves beyond their limits.
I may have inspired some of you who don't live in my area to start your
own groups. Some of us students may not be able to afford the membership
fees for STC, yet we require the insight that they propose to have.
I will be happy to share info to all those who are interested but live in
other states.
Those who did respond, thanks again. I am shooting for this weekend.
However, because of the storm coming our way, it is wait and see with our
meeting. I don't want to put you in peril(50 cents word).
I apologize for the mispelling of small. I wrote samll, I believe.
