Arlen is correct: a bitmap image will give your graphics a clunky and
chunky look if you can even get them to work at all. As far as
converting them to another format, there is a very nice graphics
program, Paint Shop Pro, available for evaluation at:
You can use it free for 90 days or somesuch. If MS Paint is all you're
working with now, buying a registered copy for $99 or so would be an
excellent investment.
