Hi, all,
I've had the opportunity to add an excellent resource
to the TECHWR-L site. The Digest Reader, developed by
TECHWR-Ler David Castro for TECHWR-Lers, allows you to
more easily read and manage your digests. Assuming you
use the NOMIME digest option, you can
* View the various subject lines in a tree structure, so
you can read the posts to the topics that interest you
without having to scroll through those that don't.
* Merge threads that have different names, but that fall
under a single category.
* Delete threads from a digest, and then save the modified
digest.
* Export individual threads to their own files.
Also, David Castro is seeking an official name for
this new freeware (currently named Mystery Reader) and
invites you to email him with suggestions. Contact
him at thetechwriter -at- yahoo -dot- com with ideas and suggestions.
Many thanks to David for developing and providing this
excellent resource!
Deborah
