Subject:Re: Numbered list misbehaviour in Word97... From:Carl Leonard <CLeonard -at- TFMG -dot- COM> Date:Thu, 5 Nov 1998 20:49:33 -0800
Dan Schmitz asked:
Why is it that, when attempting to restart the numbering in numbered
lists,
Word97 also changes some of the formatting?
The short answer is that Dan has encountered Annoying Word97 Bug
#716384635829. You could call Microsoft Support, but that would be even more
annoying. The work-around is to be patient and persistent. When you stop
fiddling with the formatting, Word will stop screwing up. With any luck,
you'll have the last word (pardon the pun).
