The EPIC Technology Group of Synopsys, Inc. has an opening for a Senior Technical
Writer. ETG develops software products and services used by the
world's leading IC chip manufacturers. Join an established Tech
Pubs team where you will have opportunities to contribute your ideas
and knowledge. We are continually adapting to changing
technologies and striving to present information in new and
accessible formats. You will have the opportunity to document both
new and existing technology. You will work closely with Applications
Engineers and Product Specialists to verify and ensure technical
accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Requires at least 3-5+ years designing and writing manuals, and
producing online material for a technical audience. Must have
extensive knowledge of FrameMaker (UNIX or PC platform) and a
working knowledge of UNIX, CAD or EDA preferred. Ability to
consistently meet deadlines, and work both independently and as
part of a team. Excellent communication skills. Interest in learning
and writing about new tools, expanding your skills, and actively
contributing to ongoing Tech Pubs efforts.
Education:
Requires BA in English or related field or equivalent.
